Customer stories

Built in the field. Now available to independent event operators.

VenueVault grew out of the real operational requirements of selling tickets, managing attendees, and running entry for Braun Brothers Reunion — an established multi-day independent music festival. The platform is now open to other independent venues, promoters, festivals, and nonprofits.

Braun Brothers Reunion

Multi-day independent music festival

An established multi-day music festival that serves thousands of attendees each year. VenueVault founder Robert “Bobby” Paugh has hands-on experience supporting its ticketing, marketing, attendee communication, and on-site operations. VenueVault's requirements came directly from that work rather than from a generic ticketing template.

The problems that shaped VenueVault

  • •Platform fees taken out of every ticket sold
  • •Losing control of when and how ticket revenue reaches the festival
  • •Attendee and buyer data held by a third-party ticketing platform
  • •Managing multiple ticket types, transfers, refunds, and comps by hand
  • •Multi-day passes that have to stay honest against each day's capacity
  • •Gate operations where staffing, connectivity, and ticket questions all hit at once

Capabilities used or developed

  • •Single-day tickets and multi-day passes with shared capacity
  • •Ticket payments through the operator's own connected Stripe account
  • •Attendee records the festival can search, export, and email directly
  • •Transfers, refunds, comps, and order corrections handled in-platform
  • •Door check-in with scanner staff accounts and manual attendee lookup
Payments
Ticket payments run through a Stripe-based flow on the festival's own account rather than a third-party payout queue.
Attendee data
Buyer and attendee records stay with the festival, so pre-travel communication happens without going through a ticketing vendor.
Gate operations
Multi-day access and entry are handled by the same system that sold the ticket, including manual lookup when a scan is not possible.

From real operations to a repeatable platform

VenueVault was not designed from a generic SaaS template. It was shaped by the work an independent operator actually has to do:

  • Creating and selling multiple ticket types for the same event
  • Managing the payment flow directly instead of waiting on a vendor
  • Maintaining accurate attendee records you can actually use
  • Handling transfers, refunds, comps, and order problems
  • Preparing staff, devices, and scanners before doors
  • Checking guests in at the gate without holding up the line
  • Working through spotty internet, thin staffing, and ticket questions at entry

Built for operators like these

These are the audiences VenueVault is built for. They describe use cases, not customer claims.

Built for Independent music venues

Advance tickets, multiple ticket types per show, and door check-in run from the same system that sold the ticket.

Built for Promoters and event producers

Run on-sales across multiple shows, keep buyer records in one place, and handle order changes without a support queue.

Built for One-day and multi-day festivals

Single-day tickets alongside multi-day passes, with capacity that stays honest across every day a pass covers.

Built for Breweries, bars, and community spaces

Ticket the events you already host, cap capacity, and scan entry with the staff you already have on shift.

Built for Nonprofit events and fundraisers

Sell tickets for benefits and fundraisers with payments landing in your own Stripe account. Nonprofit pricing is sales-assisted.

Built for Theaters and listed rooms

Your own checkout, your own branding, and attendee data that stays with the room rather than a marketplace.

Bring your next on-sale to VenueVault.

VenueVault is working directly with a select group of independent venues, promoters, and festivals as the platform expands beyond its original festival operation. Early customers get direct founder access and hands-on guidance through their first on-sale and first doors.

What we can state plainly

  • Ticket payments are processed through each operator's own connected Stripe account.
  • VenueVault takes 0% of your ticket sales.
  • Operators keep access to their customer and attendee records.
  • Plans are month-to-month by default, with no long-term contract.
  • Cancel or change plans from your billing settings at any time.

Standard Stripe payment processing fees still apply and are billed by Stripe, not VenueVault. Ticket revenue goes directly to your connected Stripe account. Payout timing follows your Stripe account's payout schedule.
