Privacy Policy

Effective Date: January 6, 2026

VenueVault Pro ("VenueVault," "we," "us," or "our"), a Delaware corporation, is committed to protecting the privacy of our users. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our platform, services, and website located at https://venuevaultpro.com (collectively, the "Service").

1. Introduction and Roles

VenueVault provides event ticketing software for independent venues, promoters, and festivals ("Organizers").

As to Organizers: VenueVault acts as a Data Controller regarding the information collected to manage the Organizer's account and subscription.

As to Attendees: VenueVault acts as a Data Processor. All attendee data collected through the Service is owned by the Organizer. VenueVault processes this data solely to provide the Service to the Organizer and does not use attendee data for its own marketing or commercial purposes.

2. Information We Collect

A. Account Information: When an Organizer creates an account, we collect names, email addresses, organization details, and professional contact information.

B. Payment Information: Payment processing is facilitated via Stripe. VenueVault does not store or process credit card numbers or bank account credentials. All financial data is governed by Stripe's Privacy Policy.

C. Event and Attendee Data: We collect information provided by Organizers or Attendees during the ticket purchase process, including attendee names, email addresses, ticket types, and purchase history.

D. Usage Data: We automatically collect information regarding how the Service is accessed and used, including IP addresses, browser types, device information, and interaction data.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information for the following purposes:

  • To provide and maintain the Service, including ticket issuing and scanning.
  • To manage Organizer subscriptions and flat-fee billing.
  • To facilitate direct payouts to Organizers via Stripe.
  • To provide customer support and respond to inquiries.
  • To detect, prevent, and address technical issues or fraudulent activity.
  • To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms and Conditions.

4. Data Ownership and No-Marketing Pledge

A. Organizer Ownership: Organizers retain 100% ownership of their attendee and customer data.

B. No Third-Party Marketing: VenueVault will never sell attendee data to third parties.

C. VenueVault Restraint: VenueVault will never contact or market its own services (or those of third parties) to an Organizer's audience or attendees. All attendee data is held strictly for the benefit of the Organizer.

5. Information Sharing and Disclosure

We may share information in the following limited circumstances:

  • With Organizers: We share attendee data with the specific Organizer responsible for the event for which the ticket was purchased.
  • With Service Providers: We share data with third-party vendors who perform services on our behalf, such as Stripe (payment processing) and infrastructure providers. These parties are contractually obligated to protect your data.
  • For Legal Reasons: We may disclose information if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities (e.g., a court or government agency).

6. Stripe Integration

VenueVault utilizes Stripe to ensure money flows directly from the ticket purchaser to the Organizer. Because VenueVault does not hold or "middleman" the funds, financial reporting (including 1099-K forms) is handled directly through Stripe. Please refer to Stripe's Global Privacy Policy for details on how they secure your financial information.

7. Data Security

We implement industry-standard technical and organizational security measures to protect your data, including encryption of data in transit (SSL/TLS) and at rest. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Data Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy, or as required to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our legal agreements and policies.

9. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Request the correction of inaccurate personal data.
  • Request the deletion of your personal data.
  • Object to or restrict the processing of your data.
  • Request data portability.

To exercise these rights, please contact us at the email address provided below.

10. Children's Privacy

Our Service is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that a child has provided us with personal information, we will take steps to delete such information.

11. Governing Law

This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Effective Date" at the top.
